What We Do
Heartland Bars was forged with faith in an old garage by a father and son team beginning with pallet wood and a passion for woodworking. We now build custom bars, furniture, décor, and more for folks all across America!
Everything is handcrafted and built to last. Nothing leaves our shop unless WE would have it in our home. Rest assured that YOUR build will receive nothing but the best care and quality of construction!
How It Works
- You leave us some basic information and your phone number so we can contact you.
- We give you a call and get a better idea of what kind of bar build works best for you.
- You receive an estimate and if we move forward, your build is added to the calendar.
- We send you an invoice for half your estimate and begin handcrafting your bar!
- You receive updates all along the way so you can be part of the build.
- Once you’re 100% satisfied and have paid the remaining balance, your order is shipped right to you!
- Your order arrives with virtually no assembly required!
- You enjoy your bar set and send us pictures of it in your space 🙂
Purchase with confidence with our secure checkout system. We accept credit cards and more through Stripe invoices. We never see your private information.
You don’t have to pay in full up front. We only need a down payment to cover the materials for your build.
Pricing & Shipping
Prices vary from order to order based on size, features, and shipping distance. We often get discounts on shipping and when we do, we pass those savings on to you. We don’t mark up shipping – it’s built into the price.
Our shipping experts go the extra mile for you. Your bar will be blanket wrapped and delivered with care. All shipped items are insured.
Virtually every bar is complete and ready for you to enjoy – no assembly required.
Popular Choices
Signature Angled Bar
Our Signature Angled Bars are without a doubt the Cadillac of home bars. Featuring a 45o turn on each side, this bar is the center of attention in any room.
These bars are extremely sturdy and classy. Built with 100% American pine wood, they also have the most bar top and shelf space of any bar we make. They come standard with low-profile gliding caster wheels to make moving a breeze.
These rustic bars typically stand at 43″ tall, are 7.5′ long, 36″ wide, with a bartop 23″ deep all the way around. That makes for over 8′ of linear bar space. It’s the perfect bar for shops/garages and man caves.
L-Shaped Bar
L-shaped bars come in different sizes and configurations, the most favored of which includes bar tops with different heights. They’re aesthetically pleasing bars for basement corners and just as sturdy as their Signature Angled counterparts. They’re constructed as two separate pieces designed to precisely fit together, creating the iconic “L” shape. Casters are best replaced with levelers for these bars as they are tailored for a more static bar space.
Bar Back
A Bar Back brings your home bar room to life with the ultimate space for display, storage, and serving room. Built and finished to match your bar, the Bar Back gives your home bar a real salloon vibe. Featuring staggered display shelves and plenty of underside storage, the pinnacle focal point of the Bar Back is a centered LED-lit mirror.
Bar Stools
No bar set is complete without bar stools. Made to match your bar, our bar stools feature custom seat pads and levelers on all four legs. Your Bar Stools will be heavy and sturdy and made to last.
Cooler Bench
A padded bench with space for your cooler is the perfect addition to any bar set. Made with a horizontal slat design, it will match the style of your bar and give you extra seating space. It features chains and handles for easy opening and moving.
Classic Style Straight Bar
Classic Style Straight Bars balance luxury and practicality. Made to fit almost anywhere, these rectangular bars can be made large or small and feature spacious shelves and levelers. They can have a straight bar top or a 90o angled one for a little extra touch of class.
Small straight bars can be used as service writing desks (as shown above) featuring optional glass tops!
Mini Fridge/Keg Pedestal
Get your mini fridge off the ground with a beautiful pedestal that matches your bar! Rather than reduce your shelf space beneath your bar, a Pedestal will ensure your mini fridge or kegerator remains a central part of your bar set while keeping it out of the way.

Paint, Stain, & Polyurethane
For custom orders, pick out your color of choice! Whether it be wood stain or paint, we can thoroughly apply multiple layers of polyurethane to give your piece protection and a beautiful shine. With some careful sanding, it’ll be smooth as glass!
Finishes include matte, semi-gloss, glossy, or natural wood.
